what the nicknme bubbie means?
my mom called me it when i was a baby, then i started calling my baby cousin it, and now i call my boyfriend it sometimes on accident, normally when im yelling at him :D hahaha.
so, anybody know what it means?

Maybe you were always happy so the mom would be like heh you bubble, or you were fat as a child and everyone thought you were a big bubble.

Like a bubba....? Traditionally, it is supposed to be a hillbilly that stands on curbs and drinks beer (think King of the Hill), but I doubt that is what your mother meant. I would guess she meant "baby" in a weird accented way. Either that or bubble.... like a cute bubble of baby fat?

i know someone who is nicknamed bubba, they call that person that because when they were younger they would shove a whole bunch of bubble gum in their mouth, and they were also chubby. a mix of both of those.
bubbie maybe means a mix of baby and honey? no clue. ask your mom

It is a pet name. My family uses it a lot---heh, mostly with our dogs, but my sister uses it with everything. I don't know where it came from, I think it is kind of like baby.
Edit: I would also go with Max's answer. It could just mean "brother," and it could mean family.
