Do you think of Peyton as a girl's name or a boy's name?

I know a girl named peyton but before I knew her I thought it was more of a boys name but its a girls name to me now. What about you? boy-peyton or girl peyton?

i really love peyton as a girls name. i think its cute and girly and then tomboyish at the same time. but it fits all the girls i know. ive seen on some contest the winner Payton of some contest and he was a guy. but he spelt it with an a instead of and e. but i dont think i would ever name my son Peyton or Payton but definately my daughter.

It's one of the ambidextrous names, but I do know 2 boys named Peyton, so I would say it is most acceptable as a boy's name, but if you like it as a girl's name, then you should use it.

I like peyton as a girls name better. I think the only boy I know of with that name is Colts quarterback, Peyton Manning... even with that said, Iike it as girls name ;-) Good luck

My sister has a friend who named his daughter Peyton. I thought it sounded like a boys name. I'm glade to see that his daughter is not the only girl named Peyton.

I see it as a unisex name. It's pretty for a girls name and it's perfect as a boys name. I mean there is Peyton Manning, and no one is going to tell him that his name is girly.

It started out as a boy's name, then transitioned to be an "either" name. Usually the boys spell it Peyton and the girls spell it Payton.

Peyton and Payton are for boys but I think Paydon works for a girl.
