Yes lots of times , but it had nothing to do with men.

A child dying of an Illness.
A parent being told there child has past away.
Punks betting-up on old people for any reason.
A handicap child trying his/her best to be like the other kids and being made fun of by the ones that are not handicap.
The list can go on and on.

Men are not the only ones that can break harts.

I'm heart broken right now. I've hurt the love of my life and I'm afraid it's not fixable, which has caused my heart to break. Knowing that you've hurt someone you care about and that it's not something you can take back is a terrible, horrible feeling.

I am right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As of today it has been a week since I had my second miscarriage. We have other children, but I had already opened a place in my heart for this one.
We hadn't really told anyone that we were expecting again, so now it seems pointless to tell people what happened so I just smile and make nice, but inside my heart is broken into a million little tiny pieces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted a bike for Christmas. We were real poor because my dad was a chronic gambler. They took our house, our furniture and nearly everything out of the house. What remained fit into a two bedroom sliver of an apartment just fine. Just the six of us. Our refridgerator was really clean all of the time. I opened it and it hurt my eyes it was so bright and clean in there. Nothing to cut the light but mustard and mayonaise and a jar of dill pickles. I remember waking up on Christmas and then having to act all happy when Mom got me socks and underwear. Oh joy!

The next year made up for it. My aunt had secretly given my mom money for Christmas. We were living in a bigger house. For a few bucks, my dad found two broken bikes and built one working bike out of them, completely in secret.

On Christmas, I creeped down at 5 in the morning and there was a bike in the glow of the Christmas lights. I just crumpled down on the stairs looking through the railing and crying. When we were allowed to come down at 9:00, they had hidden it. Had I dreamt it? I went through the socks and underwear and the "Thanks Moms." And waited for all the other presents to get opened. Finally, Dad wheeled in the hybrid that he had spray-painted brown. It was so ugly that my brother started a contageous snicker that infected my two sisters. They were hushed up. It was not ugly to me. It was forever stuck in third gear, and built like a big brown tank, but I loved my Dad right then.

i've been heartbroken several times. one guy broke my heart about three times himself then i had about three other guys break my heart. The worst was going through a divorce after being married 13 years. It turned out all for the best though.

Oh yes, my cheating, abusive, drunken ex husband, but that was a long time ago and I moved on meant and married the best man in the world, so I've seen both sides and consider myself extremely blessed.

again in high school, when this senior guy that i liked and i'm pretty sure liked me too went out with this girl and no offense to her, but i was prettier and had more potential than her. but they broke up days later and then he dated this other girl and i was still mad, but i can see why he liked her, but then they also broke up. but then i started liking his friend and got my heart broken again when i found out that he has a girlfriend, who is so lucky!

When I realized that what our marriage was supposed to be was me being the adult and responsible, and he being allowed to come and go as he pleased while I picked up the pieces behind him. I became a nagging shrew and drove him farther into Peter Pan land, and it broke us both.
