Yes once the medication I was taking gave me an allergic reaction and I broke out so bad that it was starting to infect internally, I cannot take any Antibiotic with a Mycin in it, such as Erythromycin and Clandamycin. I can only take Omoxocillin or the real Penicillin tables.

I was in the hostpital two days recovering and they said had i gone another day without coming in I might have died.

SO that was my brush with death.

just recently i experienced it from a different persepctive as a friend tried to kill himself three weeks ago, he is a correctional office and was over medicated for his bi polar disoder and he used a 12 gauge and lived but lost the bottom half of his face and luckily had no brain damage just no lower jaw and nearly bled to death.

SO Ive had more than enough close calls from both sides.

Yeah, I went out for barbecue one night and as I was driving home, I crossed the railroad tracks barely missing the train. Now, you may not think this possible because of the lights and clanging noise but I really did not notice that there was a train on the track until I heard it behind me. Scared the cr*** out of me, I'm telling ya.

sure i guess. i mean who hasen't. like four or five times i was 1 in away from bieng hit by a car. once a ride stopped upside down and i thought i would die since the blood would rush to my head. i think i passed out but it came on shortly after. someone threw a nife and it almost hit me.... its hard to recall a lot of times something happens like this. in my opinion; live, die watever its not that important. what is important is living a good and happy life

Several, actually, but who hasn't? Most were in car collesions, but also falling off ladders, falling off roofs, falling out of trees, toubling several hundred yards down a mountainside, nearly drowning several times (I never learned how to swim), had blood poisoning, flu, pneumonia, COPD with chronic bronchitis, infectious sinusitis and infected gall bladder.

Heart attack, I passed away on the table, they had to bring me back three times. And, once in a "hot" battle zone, I was shot twice, went down with a chopper.

Yeah, the janitors tried to run me over with golf carts five times last year. I lost an ankle, but I'm OK.
