Also in my opinion a trophy wife is not valued beyond how she makes him and his career look---like she's just there to look pretty and say the right thing at the right time and the rest of the time he doesn't care what she does. A loveless marriage.

No. I can show myself off with my own accomplishments, no need to be shown off by a man as his accomplishment.
EDIT: No expensive purses or diamonds can make up for my suffering in a loveless marriage aka feeling like a vegetable.

Who would want to be wife to a husband who only wanted a wife as a trophy in the first place?
What happens when the shine on the trophy wears off?

Let's see: men are pretty visual creatures, and they often marry us for our looks in part...
So if your husband is proud for the way you look and present yourself in public, you are a trophy to him at that moment. And it is a good thing, because a lot of men could not care less about their wives and what they look like. However, if my husband ever expect me to act like an airhead ( don't say anything ), I would remind him that I deserve better.

Well. What's your definition of a trophy wife?
I consider it a woman who is basically like super mom. A woman who works, is educated, makes good money, takes care of her family and loves them. A woman who feels good about themselves and their body. Which enables her husband or her wife to be able to brag about her.
So yes. I would like to be a trophy wife.
Edit: Yes, yes...I realize what the 1950's version of a trophy wife is...I was trying to make a point...I guess you didn't get it. If I were to follow the 1950's definition of a trophy wife...then no. But the new age version...yes! Definitely.

No, because you cease to become a thinking, functioning human being (in the eyes of others) and assume the identity of an accessory.

I wouldn't want to be any kind of wife, especially not that one. I don't like getting paid for and I don't like being thought of as only a body.

The way I see it, all wives are trophies. Trophies are prizes, right?
That's meant in a good way. Geesh. A prize is a good thing. She's a metaphorical prize that he attained through hard work and hope.

No, marriage is about compromise, respect, and love. How can you have a real marriage and relationship without any of that?
