My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half and have been sleeping together for a few months now. Most of the time we work, so we only have one day to spend together really. Most days he spends the whole day with me, but whenever we have sex he'll stay an hour or so after that, and then say he wants to go home. I wonder why he does this. Is it a very common thing for guys to do?

In my opinion, it kind of depends on what kind of guy he is. I was with someone like this before. I actually got up the nerve to ask him why he did this and he said he didn't realize that thats what he was doing. Men tend to do this a lot for some reason. But, if he's been with you a few months and things still seem to be going well, I dont think there is any need for you to worry or stress over it. Certainly let him know you enjoy that hour yall get to spend together after sex. Maybe then he will want to stay longer. Next time, when yall finish and your just layin around, try asking him, "you wanna go to a movie?" Try getting out of the house after sex and see how that works out. Good luck to ya!!

Yeah, it sounds like he's using u for sex. There are many things a girl should make a guy do to prove he's worthy of her body before she gives it to him. Yes, make is the wrong word, he should want to do it. But otherwise, he's gonna treat u like something he does for fun. Respect is earned...especially when it comes to guys and sex.

sounds like after a year and a half, he doesn't care about you. honestly. i'm not trying to be mean, but i live with my fiancee and two of his friends and i see how they act when they're just using a girl for sex.

:(

talk to him about it.

He is not your husband and therefore he is not committed to you. He is totally disrespecting you. Sex is only for married people. Have some respect for yourself and don't have sex with him again until your wedding night. You should not give your precious self to any man but your committed husband.

He probably has another appointment or something. Usually when men jump up and leave they have other obligations if you know what I mean. Good luck.

he probably doesnt realize he's bothering you by doing this but maybe he's just using you. try to ask him about this. if he responds negatively, it's a bad sign. good luck. > _ <
