I smoked for 30 years.
Started with Bull Durham and wheat-straw papers when I was a kid. I was allowed to smoke at home but not in public.
For years I smoked Bugler, always loved it.
Ready mades, like when I was in the Army, I smoked Lucky Strikes. Also used to love Wolf Brothers Stogies (cheroots) which I did inhale. At that time I got Luckies for $1.90 a carton and stogies for $4.75 a box. When I was working two full-time jobs, I got up to five packs a day.
I went back to Bugler for many years, it was about $1.50 a can I think.
29 years ago, I had a bad cold, and while I was rolling a cig. my four year old son looked at me and said "You CAN"T be enjoying that." He was right. I told him to throw everything out. Tobacco, cigars, pipes, papers. He did, and I quit cold turkey. Thing was I realized that at four, he had more sense than I did.
Always thought I might take it up again after the kids were grown and gone, but no way could I afford it now.
So haven't had a smoke since the day I quit. But sometimes it sure would be nice...

When I was 10, I hated myself and my life because everyone used me as the scapegoat. They sometimes told me in my face that I should just die so they wouldn't be bothered by me. So then I started smoking. After all, I thought that who would care anyways.. The only reason I stopped was because my new best friend figured out and made me stop even if he had to be close to me all the time.

yes im a smoker ..what got me started was my friends ..i was about 16 and was smoking weed .All my girlfriends where smokin ciggies at that time and i didnt want to start because my grandmother died of lung cancer .yes im stupid so i started anyways .my parents where upset with me but it is what it is i guess ...i've been smoking for about 4 years now and i do wanna stop one day before i have kids ..i usually smoke cause of stress or while drinking ..my favorite brand is newports ..its pretty much the only kind i like ..i have tried camels which suck ,marlboros suck unless im drunk .i guess since i started out with newports thats pretty much the only ciggies i like

I smoked for probably longer than you've been alive (27 years) and quit four years ago.(Almost 2 packs a day) I started because all of my friends were smoking and it was "cool". I stopped because it was giving me headaches and my mouth tasted like crap! I've stayed away from them for 2 reasons,I spend the $ on a new car payment and my kids thanked me. Both good reasons I think!

Well i started because my parents smoked alot in front of me and didn't give a crap,sooo then i started to steal some from them and smoke with friends..my favorite brand was marlboro reds.
but i quit because i don't want to die from lung cancer!!!
are you planning on smoking???yah better not!lol now i sound like a mom.hahaha

I'm a smoker, I'm a Joker, I'm a midnight toker, just don't want to hurt no one!.....1)Thought it was cool 2) yes, but I don't want to go stark ravin' mad. 3)Heck No 4) I smoke Marlboro Light's except at tater time then its Marlboro Menthol..........What's with all the thumbs down if ya smoke its a thumb to ya??

I started on Newports, then went down to mallbaro menthal lights.
Now I don't smoke. Yea me! I smoked for probably only 6 years. Quit at 30 I could start to see wrinkles. I tried to quit many times but the only successful time was cold turkey.
Oh, and I started when I lived in Europe and I mixed tabbacco with pot because that's how everyone smoked it and I was already a pot head. Then I got addicted to the tabbacco. Now- neither.

Yes I'm a smoker. Yes I want to quit. Being young and stupid got me started. Peter Jackson Menthol are my poison. LOL

yes, i'm a smoker. My parents divorce when i was 14 got me started. I do want to stop, and I'll probably end up stopping for a relationship, but i dont have one of those. My favorite brand of cigarettes would be marlboros. Lights if you want to get specific.

Yes I smoke, I do not want to stop, I started smoking in 1981, And I smoke Camel Lights, about a pack a day. Glad I could enlighten you. ;-)
