I have been going to my school for 9 years and so I am pretty well known there. Unfortunately, it's not in a good way. I don't have the prettiest face and my mother is the cafeteria lady and also the "crazy ice lady" because she used to chew ice all the time, so I automatically am unpopular. I literally only have one friend at school because my other friend had to leave the school. The one that's left is great and I will be okay even though it's only her and me, but its the other people that bother me.
The one that I have the most trouble with is who I'll call "Alex." He enjoys teasing me by saying that he slaughters horses with his uncle for a hobby (it's illegal now muahaha, Alex!) and saying other equally mean things. He is coming back this year and I will have to deal with him a lot more because I have his lunch period. How should I treat him when he tries to tease me? Should I ignore him or should I get a teacher to intervene (now that horse slaugher is illegal muahaha, Alex!)?

You can tease both sides with the same hand? You try teasing in another direction(e.g. if you hold your side hair out to the side, and tease your brush going from left to right or right to left, you could try holding it down and teasing up and vice versa) Also straightening balm or something would be good to put on those areas

Ask a teacher, even if you may not be the prettiest girl [Like me] Or your mom is the cafetira lady, it doesn't mean you deserve to be teased, no one does. So, deffinetaly ask a teacher, even if it's emabarassing, it couldn't be much worse then having to deal with that kid all year. <3
Hope this helps, best of luck, always.

The most powerful way is to "not engage" act like a stone, no facial response ,no verbal response, act as if he isn't there. I think this would be hard at your age, but it works wonders. Another way is to only answer like "oh" or " really' with NO EMOTION. tHIS WILL DRIVE HIM CRAZY AS IF HE WAS INVISIBLE BUT you can't act uppity, you have to act like an ice cube, very polite but as if he weren't there, no engagement ,It takes practice but works very very well. I am 56 and a retired teacher

Start with a school administrator. If that doesn't work, have your parents try. Finally, request a transfer to a school where your Mother doesn't work

Just ignore him. He'll probably stop and just embarrass himself if he doesn't get any reaction from you. If this doesn't work, then tell a teacher about this....

i would threaten him. that is what i do, but i do it in a way, that they can not tell, because they would get in an even worse trouble and it would embarrass them.
