Just the one. When my twins were three, I convinced them that I had bought a cow and kept it in the backyard, tied to their swing set. They wanted to know why and I told them it was because they drank so much milk, it was just easier to buy a cow, that way we would never run out of milk.
They of course had to run into the backyard and see the cow and when they got there, there was no cow....I told them it got loose and was running wild through the streets - they begged me to get in the car and go find it.....:)
They still talk about this today - they're 11 now and my daughter asked me just last week - whatever happened to the cow I use to keep tied up in the backyard.....KIDS! They say the darndest things :)

Aren't cows pretty big to be living in a house?
Goats I'd allow, but they buck around too much in the night when I want to sleep. No farm animals in the house, except a cat or dog.

Well if you must know I am a one-cow-women. I used to be promiscuous with all the cows but then Daisy was chewing grass with Darla and knocked her up....stupid cheating cow.

Well there were 5 but three belonged to the brother and since were not growing rice, and there's no one to take them out to the pasture we sold the other two. Brother is keeping his because his wife is still plowing about two rai. But the money is not so good.
