Also, wouldn't a Republican victory show that the majority of Americans do NOT view the Bush administration with extreme disgust and hatred?

Please answer the question. Don't tell me that a Republican victory isn't going to happen. I simply asked 'what if' it happens?

If there was a Republican victory, yes, every bleeding heart far left democrat in the country will cry foul. They will want to do an Al Gore and sue the election process.

IF a Republican wins in 2008 I'd be incredibly surprised.

Two of my Republican friends, strong Bush supporters in the last two elections have conceeded they think Bush as done a terrible job.

One of these guys would make Sean Hannity look like a Liberal. The other says, "I'll probably vote for a Democrat for the first time in my life."

I'll welcome whoever wins the election, provided all votes are counted fairly without a Katheryn Harris in the picture. Certainly Bush won the 2nd election - he's proved the folly of American's trust in him.

A Republican victory wouldn't necessarily indicate America's attitude toward George Bush. I strongly suspect a Republican victory is not possible without running against the Iraq War.

The question that's really up in the air is how many House & Senate Republicans will go down the tubes in the process.

If you feel that a Republican victory validates George Bush, what do you feel America would be saying if they elect a Democrat?

No a republican victory would not show that the majority of America is extremely disgusted with the bush admin. I am not going to say that the republicans stole the election though in general i'd prefer a Democrat in office instead of a republican, with the exception of ron paul who i think would make a good president. I aslo think John Mccain would have before he started saling out and placating the religious right ( as far as i am conncerned both parties suck but republicans are worse). Btw, i will only accuse the republicans of stealing the election in 2000

Probably the Democrats will. It seems there isn't "fair play" any more. If they win there will probably be calls of stolen election too. Where did the idea of being a good loser go to? It bothers me that in some kindergarten and elementary schools they are subscribing to the idea that no one is a loser. which is ridiculous and not preparing kids for the real world. We all lose sometimes.some more than others, but that's life. I am sick of the 2008 election already. If I was able to I would ban electioneering until 6 months before the election and would limit the amount of money allowed to be spent.I can dream can't I.

No.
I will shout Yabba Dabba Doo Fred Flintstone style.
And sigh a big heave of relief that Hillary did not win.
But then the concern will return in 2011 or 2010 when the 2012 elections heat up and Hillary will be trying to gain power again.

By the time the real election rolls around the people will be so disenchanted with both parties that it will be the poorest turnout in modern times. Both parties have shown their lack of concern for this country. The so called New leadership in congress has wasted 7 months playing watch me attack republicans with the media instead of getting things done. Time they get down to business. If they continue to waste time the people will just stop voting. It does not do any good since those running for office are bought and paid for in order to pay for the election.

1st: Have you always been a tard?...or did this come about with the republican "victory" in 2000? 2nd:A republican 2008 victory would only show that the cattle of this country have allowed another republican theft of the presidency! Better yet, why does anyone vote? Both parties are corrupt & 2000 clearly showed us our votes mean sh*t!

If that would mean the day of Armageddon will come within the next 4 years, then I'm for it!
In the closing book of Revelation Jesus promised saying, "Yes, I am coming quickly."
Whatever happens in this world are signs of the times and Jesus said so.

Whoever wins the election, there must be no accusations of cheating if no evidence can be presented.

If Ron Paul is elected, I see no such bickering and whining happening.
