Face one direction and then start running. would this influence the speed of the earths rotation...???

No harm in trying. But you know there will be that one person who will rebel and run the opposite direction and mess it all up. Or the few party poopers who won't run at all, phooey.

What are you crazy. If we did that the speed of the earths rotation would greatly increase!! We are liable to spin it right off course. Then where in the world would we be literally.

I actually asked my physics teacher a similar question about all of us jumping into a same direction and he said it would probably screw Earth's rotation and send us off, so let's not do it.

I don't think you could get everyone earth to do anything at the same time, we can't agree on anything and I don't think it would influence the speed...sorry.

Yea, it will increse the earth's rotation by at least 1 mile per hour........very slow

No because all we'd be doing is running on it. There has to be a different force pushing it. All we'd be doing if you think about it is jumping really fast and I don't think that would do anything either.
