My kids never play war like we did growing up.

Not where I come from. Dirt clods are the best for playing war. Now days most the kids carry guns so it's probably best that they don't play army.

A dirt clod makes a really cool hand grenade.
I don't know if it's a lost art or not. I haven't seen a good dirt clod fight in quite a while.
These days the kids who play war play it on computers. Just better hope one of these little wizards doesn't crack the doomsday codes and start World War III.
Maybe pellet gun wars aren't such a bad idea after all.

It is a throw back to the past. I used to throw dirt clods when I was a kid. Man, did they hurt. That is something I am glad my kids have not picked up on. It is better to talk dirt than throw it.

no kidding! i had many dirt clod fights when i was young. the fun we had with sharp sticks and rocks, those were the days.
