Had a preterm labor (she passed) and am still having swelling in the legs and feet which I think is also a sign of poor ciruculation. I still have medicaid for two more months as was wondering if medicaid would cover me seeing a cardiologist?

Yes, Medicaid will cover all your medical expenses while you are pregnant. Espcecially if you are having complications. The symptoms you are describing sound like they could be a number of things not just circulation. Talk to your OB first then they can refer you to a cardiologist.

Have you talked to your OBGYN about your swelling. The swelling in your hands and feet sound more like pre-eclampsia / eclampsia instead. Whether it is resulting from your pregnancy or a heart related condition that the pregnancy brought on, I would go to any doctor as quickly as possible so that you can find out what is wrong. Good luck!

They should. I never see that kind of insurance dneying you to see one. I am one now and been one for many years. Want you can do is call the doctor office that want you see if they take medicaid. You can call the insurance to make sure or your caseworker. I see not that you can't see them.

maybe. my medicaid would cover it for a month after i give birth (as long as my primary care physician referred me). after that, they only pay for well-woman exams and birth control... but they pay for that for a year.
