I say we tie a rope around his junk, hitch him to a team of sled dogs, and crack the whip. ;-)

i agree with you! its soooooooo cruel to do that to dogs! i think they should get time in prison like 5 yrs plus cause what he was doing was just wrong and he is getting it lighter then a normal person would get just because he is a football player and i also think he shouldnt be able to play football ever again!!!!! i hope he rots in hell

First, I think it is fully appropriate that he has been suspended indefinately without pay. Also glad to hear Nike and Reebok are dropping him. I think at least some jail time is in order. As much as I'd love to torture him, that's just realistically not going to happen. I don't think he should ever be allowed to play in the NFL again. NFL players are supposed to professionals and, like it or not, are role models to millions. He is neither.

I think the only way he coiuld even BEGIN to make amends would be by getting involved in some ongoing (this is the important term here - I'm not talking about a one time million dollar donation to a humane society) animal welfare program, in which he has to donate his money as well as his time. But no direct contact with any animals unless under strict supervision.

As for those defending him from the football point of view (and don't get me wrong, I love football), consider: he was mediocre as a QB at best, a one trick pony. He could run, but he couldn't pass. Sorry, if you want to beat a rushing record, there are more oportune positions for you to play. Besides that, he flipped off his OWN FANS. That speaks volumes to his character, and makes the allegations all the more believable.

Where should I begin with this one?

First off, I'm glad he finally pleaded guilty. That means that he actually got smart about one thing....that if he hadn't plead guilty, his friends would end up singing like birds and will spill the beans on him anyways.

With that said....at the very least, I hope he ends up in jail for at least a year, but I'd be thrilled with more than that.

As for now, I'm excited that the NFL has suspended him indefinately, without pay, and that the Falcons may be (at least it would be smart for them to do) making him pay back the money for his signing bonus and contract fees (over $130 million), AND his loss of sponsors (Nike cancelled his contract). Just those alone will cost him millions in lost wages, bonuses, and endorsements, but include his heavy lawyer fees that he'll be shelling out for at least the next few months, he's going to go to jail rich, and come out broke. Fair well to pond scum! He deserves to lose all that money!

I think they should give him and the other guys involved a really stiff penalty. I would like to see all those guys be made an example of so that other people will not attempt what they did. Michael Vick has the most to lose, but he deserves it. If you can't behave like a human being, then you shouldn't be treated like one. Maybe the punishment should fit the crime, you know, hang them, or maybe electricute them, or beat them. I am sorry, but those dogs didn't deserve what happened to them.

Michael Vick's punishment is dropping his million greenback endorsements for athletic clothing and shoes and suspension from his million greenback profession with the NFL. dropping each and all of the destiny funds and having to pay decrease back the $22 million to the NFL would be his punishment. even although the canines have been pit bulls who have been bread for struggling with, they're nonetheless animals. people who kill animals interior the techniques that he did (torturing, miraculous, bashing the canines' heads in) are psychotic (submit to in ideas serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer; he tortured and killed animals from the time he replaced right into a toddler into his youngster years and then graduated to torturing and killing people). If the canines had to be destroyed, there are humane techniques of killing them in the event that they had to be killed. i'm hoping that his apology is honest and if he incredibly is honest, he ought to accomplish a little time working at animal shelters to rehabilitate himself.

Only thing that would satisfy me is if he donated a great chunk of the money he has left (after paying all his lawyers, may not be that much) to take care of those poor pitbulls who survived his hell hole dogfighting.

He should establish a retirement farm for pitbulls who are not adoptable because vicious, unfeeling people like him have made them too disturbed to be with families. Somewhere in the country where they can live out their lives in peace and comfort - that's the least he could do.

I'm surprised his p.r. people haven't advised him to do that yet - even if it is just to make him look better.

seriously, he shoal get time in prison, never be able to own any animal, be required to get some mental health counseling, and most importantly, NEVER be allowed to play in the NFL again. He doesn't need to be a role model for kids growing up.

I say smear male dog scent on him and turn him loose in a ring with a couple of his prize fighting dogs and run it on T.V. I'd love to watch them rip his balls off.

ha, i agree! no but really, i think he should get suspended for AT LEAST 1/2 the season...i mean they just fight those dogs til death, and i heard if they arent strong enough they just shoot em. that is horrible. or maybe just stick him in a locked room with 50 pitbulls bred to fight. see how he likes dog fights then.
