They should be green. Amber shows you have a problem with the router.

it depends on the manufacturer, but an amber light usually means the internet connection is down. You may want to reboot your router, and if that doesn't work... call your ISP.

You appear to BE on the internet.

However, unplug the router, reboot the computer, plug the router back in.

Should connect.

Depends which light on your router, but you have lost connection between your ISP.
