I can see a serious problem with the western worlds terrorist laws.
When the troops come home and the war is over will the government of the day withdraw the laws?
My money says no as they dont like giving up power in any form.

The President, as Commander-in-chief, has absolute authority to conduct surveillance on the enemy in time of war. NO warrant is required.

It doesn't, but that would provide oversight, and we can't start having oversight in regards to Bush actions, because then he would have to start acting like a real American President, instead of just playing one on TV.

If you are an American; a warrant must be served (there must be probable cause and it must be founded), or the law person is not acting as an American representative.

Actually this is not the first time that this has been done. The NSA has been doing this for quite a while. The media keeps saying that Bush is doing this and that; It's not him it's the NSA. The whole thing is silly.
