I doubt it. Honey is boiled when it's processed, which denatures the proteins in any bee toxin and renders it harmless. All that would happen is you'd get a little extra nutrition in your honey :-)

I would say yes.. As long as you are sure it was a stinger (which obviously you are..)... the company should have done a better job to make sure their product was safe.. since they didn't and that product caused injury to a consumer.. you should be able to sue..
(but thats more ethics than it is law, and this situation is a little touchy.. and probably really hard to prove..)

Sue the honey company for the injury you sustained from the bee stinger that hit your tongue plus sleepless nights due to anxiety and damages arising from it.

Didn't you read the label...
"Warning: this honey may contain bee stings, which, if by some one in a million chance got lodged in your tongue could cause anaphylatic shock and possibly death. Do not consume without an emergency supply of epinephrine. Pleese call your bee sting control center immediately!"

No. This could (and probably would be) considered a part of the product the company cannot control. It is like finding (or getting cut by) a shell in canned crab meat. You will be wasting money on a case you won't win.

No - the stinger is not "alive" anymore after it went through the ordeal of becoming honey.
Save your suing for something legitimate.

Remember that the woman that tried the "finger in the chili" thing at Wendy's is in jail for that little stunt.

I'm almost posotive that the situation you gave is imposible and sounds like a scam.. You would need a lawyer and a lot of proof that it was their fault..
