okay i have a sansa e260 and when i plug it into my vista laptop my songs do not show up or the folder for the music but when i plug it in xp computer the folder and musisc isthere whats going on?
xp and vista are the os systems;)

I have one too and I have never tried it on a Vista comp. Call Sandisk support. They are pretty good. Maybe there's something in Vista you have to configure to make it see the player. I am not familiar with Vista yet.
One thing you could try is open the My Computer Folder. Tools --> Folder Options --> View Tab --> Check "Show Hidden Files and Folders.
That worked once for me in XP.
