Why do they give you dirty looks if you dont give them a tip or give them $1 for a tip?

Ya know that's a good question. My mom says she always tips, but I told her that's their job. That would be like tipping the cashier at Target......I will tip if I have to wait on my coffee and they bring it to my table though.....

Wow! no one fills that tumbler with coffee like they do - or steams that milk like they do : :| go away a tip for what?? All they did became supply you a cup of coffee over-the-counter. they did no longer convey it on your table. Tip ability in basic terms that (gratuity) meaning you show economic thank you in case you experience like expressing economic thank you. it is not mandatory. the only reason people tip at Starbucks is by using fact they understand the those that artwork there are paid neo-slave wages. If i'm getting undesirable provider at a eating place i do no longer tip, so I specific does no longer tip at Starbucks except I felt like it or have been given exceedingly friendly and amazing provider in case you reside there all day, you should tip, in spite of the indisputable fact that it is not mandatory

Well,
I work at a safeway starbucks and we'd get fired there if we accept tips. We're not allowed to accept any tips at all - i don't know about individual starbucks stores though

Your not supossed to but I think they appreciate it greatly if you do. I don't think they should give you a dirty look for giving them a $1 tip every buck makes a difference. They are overpriced and should be greatful you are kind enough tip them.

it's already expensive that half the price is like 2 tips
that happens a lot huh
thats why the tip jars always full
they even starred me down
and they take forever to make it
I now go to the cofee shop down the street
fast and cheap
really good to

I've never tipped the people at Starbucks. The day that they start adding rum to my Mocha Frappichino is the day that I tip them.

the coffee at starbucks is low grade. I wouldnt even give them 5 cents. Until you've tried coffee from other overseas outlets, Starbucks is blahh

i don't like starbucks very much..
when i visit the east cost, I always get dunkin doughnuts..
starbucks is overpriced, there is no way im going to pay 4 bucks a coffee..

They should tip me for waiting in line so long and paying that much for coffee. I do usually throw my coin change in the cup, but that's it, they didn't serve or come wait on me at a table.

when they give me a dirty look i just flick them off, and show them my designer crap, then i say "i'm sorry you have to work in this d-list restaraunt, i guess you really won't amount to anything unlike me...." when i say that they get so damn pissed, this one guy tried to throw coffee at me one time when i said that, and yes i think they are so over priced, that's why i like dunkin doughnuts... the only thing i like from star bucks is the double chocolate chip frappachino
