Twice. I hit a car while backing out of the parking space and failed it in seconds flat the first time. It was a really small town, so I had to wait for what seemed like forever to take it again. Instead of driving to work and cruising around with my girlfriend in a Cadillac, I had to walk a lot of miles that summer. Talk about a drag.

I had to take the driving test twice too. But I only had to take the written part of the test once. I didn't miss ANY on that test but I really screwed the first driving test up!!! I was so embarrassed and devastated!

I too took it twice, I messed up on the first try because I was not yet ready to be taking it, and the second time I passed with no trouble at all since that time I had more practice and was ready

If you mean the actual driving part, I took it twice, because of parallel parking. First time I took it in a Chrysler New Yorker(a boat), the second time I used my Aunts car, I can't remember what it was, but it was smaller.

i took my learners three times before losing my license to a pickpocket along with my wallet ,so now i need to take the exams again which is a huge bummer!!!...i am just so so so lazy to go all over the whole thing again...so i am currently on my sixth sitting...failing every single time...wish me luck.maybe i will get lucky the seventh time around???

I took it once. Thank goodness. Had to do my parellel parking over again though. The first time I did it I backed in too sharp, so I had to do it again then and there.

Just once. I failed but the guy let me slide. I couldn't parallel park, ran a red light, sped through a school zone and never did see the stop sign. My lucky day !
