hi - I am a 45 year old male.

in 2003 - I had an injury where I ended up with 4 severely rotated vertebrae, and I have been in physical therapy since. I just finished the supervised physical therapy in March 2007 - I started walking on my own in June 2006, and I think by next year sometime I should be done with physical therapy in general and then I plan to train to be an athlete of some kind. I am trying to find a sport that I can compete in, that will also be able to be where I can make a living doing it. I am not sure what that might be.
I don't know of any sports where you can really compete being older, and still make enough to live on - except for maybe golf, which I am not proficient at, at the current time.
I know this seems like a crazy idea, but I feel somewhat led in this direction, but I'm not sure why or what I could even do..
thanks

I think that golf is a great idea you can play it fo a really long time espesially for you. your still young so this is a great time to take up golf. Depending on where you live you will probobly find a place that teaches golf. I take golf lesson's at indian Head golf park in kingspark, long island my self. I love it. I would like to see you on T.V some day playing against Tiger Woods some day:-)
