To not vote is anyone's right.

But they are basically saying they silently agree with everything the government is currently doing, and implying that they should continue doing it.

I understand what they are feeling, but that is not the way to do it. By "not voting" they are simply allowing someone else to decide their future. I guess being the ostrich with his head in the sand is one way to transcend, but the ostrich is not going anywhere. We can't stand by and complain about politics and blame the ones who do vote.

I am so sick of hearing everybody whine and moan about this or that and now they want to prove something by not voting at all. Well we are a free Country oh wait maybe we shouldn't tell them after all that required people to VOTE.

If you transcend the obligation to exercise your right to vote, you also transcend any right to moan about the outcome.

I think they should move to North Korea, where such transcendence is encouraged.

Not much.
Since serving
as an elected official,
I have a difficult time
listening to people whine
who also haven't voted in years.

I think they need to join reality. I totally understand why they feel that way, but I can't bring myself to join them.
