No, i've always tried to say whats on my mind for that exact reason. That's lead to many things, from keeping in touch with a still-great friend who lives on the other side of the world to getting rejected by the girl i liked...

I would have told my grandparents "thank you" for being the best grandparents any kid could ask for. For always making me feel beautiful and special and for loving me unconditionally. I would have told them I loved them more than anything in this world.
I wish I would have told them all of this ... instead of assuming that they already knew.

yeah, I wanted to say "bring me chocolates and keychains from there" to my aunt, well, now she went there and I've never seen her after then!
when she'll come back she would be empty-handed :(
