Yes! He need an a** whooping for real! In my day there was no way I'd talk to any adult the way he talks to Sharon, let in on my mom. Whoever put into law the spanking a child is child abuse needs their a** kicked as well. That's why these kids today are so uncontrolable. 20 years ago this was unheard of because kids would know that a switch was a powerful thing. Shoot my teachers even paddled bad kids & put them in the corner. Never did I see those kids or myself for that matter repeat the same crap again. Talking to kids does not solve the problem & that's quiite obvious in Noah''s case. Sharon & Nick have talked til they're blue in the face & that bratty kid still talks back & acts like he's grown & paying the mortgage. I don't care what Sharon, Nick, Phyllis, Jack or Frick & Frack for that matter have done or slept with, they're grown & that's grown folks business. He needs to get over it! What's done is done & he has no control over what grown folks do. I understand his sister died but that doesn't mean he has to take it out on everyone & cause them misery & pain with his nasty attitude. So what if this is just a soap, it happens in everyday life now since that stupid law about spanking a kid is abuse went into effect & some people have become scared crapless to punish their kids. I'm of Christian belief & I believe if you spare the rod you spoil the child. And best believe my children will never talk to me or their dad the way Noah does his parents.

I would have said yes, but not until Friday's show. When he took the stand to helpl Phyllis out of her bind. That is not the bratty kid that I hate - that is a loving kid that has come to understand that his dad's wife, his sister's mother is going to jail.

Most kids on soaps seem cute when their little, but always grow up to be bratty kids. Noah has to be the one with the most lip though. If I were one of his parents that boy would have been disiplined by now, but it seems like Sharon not a disipliner and Nick is too focused on being a cool parent. I honestly think Jack is the best with him!

The kid seems to know everything (don't they all?), but about matters far above his maturity level. Yep, he is a brat, for sure. He needs to be smacked when he talks like that to his mother. Maybe they will turn this into a storyline--he'll run away and come back as a teenager! (it's genetic--Nick and Victoria both had SORAS)

Bravo, Deble. And besides his dead sister and his parents cheating on each other and marrying other people, there was also Phyllis and Summer's kidnapping which he found via the internet when he was forbidden to go online (why Sharon didn't discipline him rationally is totally beyond me,) then that cliff accident that killed Dru and nearly killed Sharon, THEN there was Nick plane crash in which he was presumed dead.
If he is acting out of control to the point where he needs reform school, then I would blame that ENTIRELY on SharHo. The bible also states (I would think, anyway) that you reap what you sow, and Sharon is getting exactly what she deserves, in my VERY humble opinion, for not paying the slightest bit of attention to Noah when he needed her, and always picking her men AND her need to sexually satisfy herself over him by sending him to sleepovers, and making Nick and his family look after him. I have not an ounce of sympathy for SharHo, especially since she abandoned her husband and children for three months during that stint in Denver when she "needed" to find herself, and she was nowhere to be found when Cassie fell through the ice and nearly died of hypothermia.
Noah's bad behaviour is "poor" Sharon's fault, and she knows it, but won't admit it.

I think a lot of the perceived brattiness comes down to him being a bad actor. That said, it's a shame you WANT to see him spanked. This is entertainment, sheesh! if you're looking for realism, you might want to look somewhere other than a SOAP OPERA. At the same time, it seems you don't have much exposure to kids if you think that he has such behavioral issues. Find me a kid that has experienced what this character has experienced and then you'll see what real acting out is.
On a side note, hitting a child does not solve problems, contrary to what you suggest.

People....you all are talking about spanking Noah...in todays world that is considered child abuse! He has ever right to be a smart mouth, look what the kid has been through.....living with both parents that cheat, a dead sister, where is the stability in this child's life? All Sharon worries about is who she is going to whine to next...Brad, Neil...I think Phyllis really is a better mom, at least we see her trying.....Noah is always gone to camp or a sleep over...and what about Nikki for a grandmother...she sure doesn't care about those grandkids of hers.

Yeah. Noah is definitely a brat. What about when everyone thought that Nick was dead and Noah yelled at Jack, telling him not to do that basketball move anymore, b/c it was Nick's? When Jack tried to comfort him, Noah yelled, "Shut-up" to Jack!
Yeah......that kid needs a good thrashing.
