I read today that he was suspended without pay indefinitely. I don't think he will ever be picked up by anyone else.

I certainly hope that his NFL Career is over. He is a poor excuse for a human being. His only hope is to use this as a learning experience and turn his life around and try and do some good for society.

There are so many great sports figures and then something like this has to leave everyone with a bad feeling. How do people explain to their children and grandchildren that someone who is supposed to be a hero behaved is such a horrible way?

I saw a video earlier today of a young man who let his dog tear apart a game ball that had been autographed by Vick, thought it was very appropriate.

First of all i am totally against anyone causing harm to animals. Harm animals only if the animal is causing your life to be in danger. No I think that Vick will still play again. He'll come back and be an animal activist, and be a hero in the year 2013.
What some people don't realize is that Michael Vick, was born and raised in a certain life style where dog fighting is a sport and is not looked down on. Also, some people in minority life's grow up watching their mom being beat by their dad, and they don't realize that's wrong. Coming from where Vick came from is a way of life. I myself have lived in a ghetto live style, although I don't like dog, chicken, and animal fighting is wrong, I've watched prostitution in my neighborhood, and pimping, to the point that many of these people in my neighborhood glorify these people. So my point is some people are victims of their geographic birth place..

I hope so. Anyone who uses animals to combat each other shows that the person does not have any respect for other life forms. Insects would be different, however. lol

It is hard for me to comprehend this kind of behavior. Even chicken cock fights I cannot comprehend. I guess I don't like violence.

I believe (assuming he's convicted of the felony) no convicted felon should be allowed in ANY pro sport. Of course, that would certainly eliminate lots of players.
