""AP) One after another, the men and women who have stepped forward to report corruption in the massive effort to rebuild Iraq have been vilified, fired and demoted.

Or worse.

For daring to report illegal arms sales, Navy veteran Donald Vance says he was imprisoned by the American military in a security compound outside Baghdad and subjected to harsh interrogation methods. ""

Thank you for a link to that valuable story.

I long for the day when the men that run Halliburton are given a blindfold, a last cigarette and a last word, and dispatched from this planet altogether.

Among all Presidential candidates, Dr. Ron Paul is now first in total donations from military personnel and veterans. While this may come as a surprise to some, Tom Engelhardt identified the primary reason when he asked rhetorically, "why should (military personnel) want to be endlessly redeployed to a lost war in a lost land?" (see Why the US Military Loves Ron Paul).
Why, indeed – President Paul would bring them home now.

i believe that any baby-kisser who votes for a conflict could desire to locate their infants eligible to be drafted. it fairly is not honest to their infants, of course, besides the fact that if it often is the marvelous element, in spite of the actuality that it may well be blatantly unconstitutuional and unfair to the infants. that's slightly-properly-known actuality that McCain's son is serving in Iraq. The media has been very, very honorable in protecting this actuality a secret. yet... i'm uncertain that having Bush's offspring serving in Iraq may well be a good element, average. God bless George Bush and his kin, yet his daughters are no longer the sharpest knives in the container...

And do you think Bush is the only one connected to Halliburton? Do you know how many democrats and democratic champaign supporters belong to Halliburton? I'd be more suspicious of certain democrats worried about someone getting into their cut of the deals! It sure wouldnl't be a first!

Why would anyone be surprised about anything this corrupt cabal do. They are after all above the law, and their poster boy is the decider himself....... I look forward to the day when I visit the Hague to hear the verdicts coming in..... hold on.... aren't the Dutch also getting their piece of the action?

We are all doomed.

The whole thing about Halliburton is way over blown. A lot of the times they were given contracts only because they were the only company that does that type of thing except for foreign companies. Would you rather we give the contract to a French company? Come on wake up! Get your head out of the sand! Don't just lap up whatever your liberal blog tells you.

No. It was Clinton who gave Halliburton their first no bid contracts and when Bush became President he inherrited Halliburton as part of Clinton's legacy. As for the blowing of whistles, ask Monica about that. She was there blowing Bill's whistle while Osama planned 9/11.
Think about it...
