I get my first lupron shot Monday. I started my period yesterday. So I should not be pregnant. Should I?

still do a preggo test to make double sure? This drug can cause bad defects if I am pregnant.

The shot is for endometrosis.

It won't cause defects. It could however, cause a miscarriage if you are pregnant. However, if you had a regular period, the risk is highly unlikely. Is the Lupron for presumed endometriosis?

I tend to be a bit of a worrier, so I would take a test. No, your period came, so you aren't pregnant, but just for your own peace of mind, go ahead and take a test, can't hurt right?
