i need synonms for these words
disciplined, bullet, ran
disciplined-as in the teacher disciplined the student who spoke out of turn
bullet- as in the rain fell in bullets against the window
ran- as in the horse ran through the muddy waters

Disciplined = chastised, corrected, admonished.
Bullet = Missile, projectile, shot.
Ran = Careened, hurtled, ploughed, forged.

I think there are no connotations to "disciplined" and ran": the words say it like it is. "Fell in bullets" is a metaphor.

sped, raced, sprinted, dashed, jogged
