No... because if I were to lose half a million dollars, I'd want someone to return it to me. Having 500,000 dollars would be nice, but I'd feel extremely guilty if I took it.

No, I would not steal it.
If it was without it's owner, then I would call the Police. Perhaps when the rightful owner was located, I'd receive a small reward.

Honestly, I would take it home with me, check for owners info., if none I'd wait to see what I read or heard about it, if nothing, I'd have to wonder if it were counterfeit or not so I'd get it checked out.

I'd be tempted but I probably wouldn't...in fact, I definitely wouldn't. That would look really bad on an IRS audit.

well, i think I'd just leave it, if i took it I'd then bring it in to the police, because my conscience would be telling me to give it in. I couldn't live with the fact that i took so MUCH MONEY that wasn't mine

I would take it to the police and MAKE SURE they have my name for when no one shows up to collect it. Probably drug money anyway.
