“I remember one time Kevin Garnett was mushing him, and
shoving him in the face; and Tim Duncan didn't do anything, he didn't react. He just kicked Kevin Garnett's ***, and won the damn championship. You know what I'm sayin'? That's gangsta. Everybody can show emotion, dunk on somebody, scream and be real cocky; but Tim Duncan is a ... he's a pimp."

The best and funniest By FAR!!!!! is the immortal antoine walker At the 3pt contest antoine was asked why he shot so many 3 point shots, based off the fact that he led the league in attempts yet was converting at only 34% or something. Toine replied "because there are no 4 pointers" Also rasheed "the ball don't lie" is a classic

A quote from Larry Bird

"That wasn't Michael JOrdan out there. It was God disguised as Michael JOrdan.."

after JOrdan dropped 63 points, NBA play-off record, in the Boston GArden. Almost single handedly lifting the Bulls.

My all time favorite basketball quote was said during Magic Johnson's last All-Star game. I don't remember who the TV announcer was (I think it may have been Dick Enberg), but this was the NBA All-Star game after Magic Johnson was announced to have HIV.

I wasn't sure I heard it correctly, but it was later confirmed when a friend asked if I had heard the comment . . . the unfortunate double entendre comment after Magic made a hook shot - - - "there's Magic playin' with a hooker."

Yup, my jaw dropped.

Kobe Bryant on Raja Bell after Bell's suspension for throwing
Bryant to the ground during game 5:

"I don't know this kid. I don't need to know this kid. I don't want to. We go out there, we play the game and leave it at that. Maybe he wasn't hugged enough as a kid. I look at him
a little bit, he gets a little insecure or something. I don't know."

Bell's mother to Bryant after game 7: "Do you need a hug?"

I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.
