Yes!!!! and when I leave them.(The kiss is on the cheek, even for relatives) And I say I love you.
Even some business associates get a hug!

And my children, including my 13 year old son, do the same.

I have friends that are not touchers normally but will accept my attention and even hang on for a bit longer than others. The only person I don't hug and kiss hello any longer is my ex-husband, but he gets a shoulder pat and sincere ha ya doing.

If I had to be affectionate with someone that I knew,I would hug them. Parents, grandparents and aunts, family members (if I like them) lol...kiss and hug. Total stranger...just a hi! I don't really like touching people or shaking their hand, unless of course it was before and after a job interview then I run straight to a bathroom to wash my hands. Oh well, you get the picture.

when I first meet someone I don't know I shake their hands. If it is someone I do know I greet with a hug not unless I don't like them. if it's my family a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

It depends on who the person is, I may hug them or I just say hi and if I'm meeting you for the first time, I may shake your hand, but I do not kiss anyone, but my mother.

I keep to myself and just say "hi" and introduce myself. If THEY want to shake hands, then that's fine, but who actually shakes hands as a greeting except for businesspeople...? And who actually kisses or hugs to greet others unless they're one of those bubbly, preppy people or... European? That is, unless you're talking about people whom I've already met or know. I might hug them if they're relatives or something, but not new people!

That would depend who I was greeting. Close friends & family I will hug & kiss. Acquaintances or strangers I will shake hands with.

Shake hands and possibly a hug. Never a kiss unless its one of my children or my husband.
