just after answering this, I did. pesky little thing. I let it go and it fell to the floor. then I thumped it really hard. I hope it died.

yes,
flies are so cool,
as a creation of God they have personality as well as curiosity.
If i catch a fly I let it go!
there was a time when 2 hovering flies were inside the truck after work. as a passenger watched, i played a game of tag as i saw the fly and moved toward him, as he flew away, and then came back! it was entirely funny to watch the way this fly was playing a game.

Many times.... I have pretty quick hands. And always let it go.
I once did the same with a yellow jacket, quickly releasing it to the ground and squashing it. It was annoying the 4 or 5 people standing to my right who were making quite a fuss about it and when it flew by me, I grabbed it and did away with it. Then I looked at them and said... "Bond...James Bond...." We all had a good laugh..

yes I have........I usually let it go....outside. But I used to have a buddy of mine that would catch one and shake it up to make it dizzy so it wouldn't fly away. Then he would tie a piece of his hair around its neck (very lightly because you can pop the head off) and when it came to it would fly in a circle. He had a fly on a leash.......seriously

bare hand -- singular. It substitute into remarkable and that i even shocked myself, yet I performed it off like i substitute right into a ninja & do it all of the time. as quickly as via myself, I wiped off my hand because of the fact it had icky fly guts on it.

Yes I have and bees to. An old lady told me that if I held my breath as I was catching the bee it wouldn't sting me,boy did I find out that was a lie more than once. lol=)

I would let it go because flies are not dangerous, I would just carry it outside then let it go and quickly shut the door behind me.
