You can be fired or laid off for any reason. You have no recourse unless you have evidence.

It's not what you say but what you can prove on court.
The court will not take just your word for granted, you need to prove your claims.
Do you have 10 witnesses of your boss saying "I fired Mr**** so we can hire an illegal immigrant to do his job."?
If you do then go ahead.

You have a suit for wrongful termination, plus a possible criminal action against your employer.
