How do I get the local government to send the property tax bill to my address and not to the rental property's address?

You just call the county property appraisers office and change the billing address.

Call the title/escrow company that you used when you bought the property and let them know. Or notify the local county tax assessor's office and give them your new mailing address.

Go to Town or City hall, and speak with the tax bureau. If they can't make the address change, they can direct you to whomever can.
