If you're selling it, it's not free; that's called giving it away!
Try freecycle.org. It is a yahoo group and you can sign up for a group that is in your town. Everyone has stuff to offer,and stuff they want to receive. Good luck!

Well you're in the Visual Arts questions, so I assume you're wanting to sell your artwork? If so, here's a couple of sites that do not charge fees to list your artwork.

The last two charge a percentage IF you make a sale...but it's not much.

The restaurants & bars-I've sold stuff there off & on without setting up a sign-people pass by & notice me drawing & request drawings, -but some owners & managers (esp. the locally owned places) may not be happy about it.

If you want to give it away free try the FreeCycle in your area.
If you want to sell it, try craigslist.
(NOTE: I thought craigslist would be only in my own area. But my first sale was to a person 3000 miles away!)

have a free sale at the front of your yard or something, like u know, a yard sale, but this time post papers everywhere, and say its for FREE!!!! then everyone will come, hope it works!

cafepress.com is always a good way to make some money off of artwork, I sold some t-shirts w/ a picture of a mexican penguin on it there. XD

if your selling it....it's not free, if your wanting to give it away take it to the local shelter
