if you do not hassle people they will come to you much more easily and give them something for free and they will feel like buying something off you as well

1) Memorize all the great things about your product (you should have about 30-40 in mind). 2) Ask questions. 3) Tailor your response in terms of the 30-40 great things about the product. 4) If your customers are silent, they are deciding. During that time, keep telling them about the other benefits, but also rephrase the benefits that most apply to their needs. 5) If a male is the decisionmaker, flirt with him.

be friendly, and caring about their needs, but not pushy
maintain a high standard of dress and behavior, and act like what you are selling is the most important thing in the world, that particular attention should be paid to, but dont act snobby
treat each customer with the same respect, no matter how they are dressed or act, act as if they are your most important customer of the day!
accept that you will have all types to come in, some who wish to be left mostly alone, some undecided on what they want to buy, some who know what they want and just want to grab it and go, and some who may want to chat, interact with you
try to accommodate all of them, as best you can,
