Are you guys afraid of insects? Tell the truth please?

for me no, because i always kill the insect such as cockroach and flies not spiders at home.

I was never afraid of them. Former science teacher.

I use to catch them and put them back out. Then I was bitten by a spiderunkowingly. not rescuing, but saw it after fact running away. It caused a 3" wound, flu symptoms for days, horrible headaches, it did not heal for 6 +months, I had a scar for 6 years after. Did not catch it such shooting burning pain on my ankle I could not stand or run after it. SO still don't know what type. The bad type!

SO am I afraid? no. But any spider in my house now gets killed not rescued. Flies get it just because they are annoying , hang out on "Sh#%" and always trying to land on food.....

I'm not afraid of insects except cockroaches.
I'm not afraid that a cockroach will harm me; I'm just phobic.
As for an insect that could harm me, e.g. bees and wasps, I'm not scared of them either because they have never stung me in my 60 years of life. So I figure that if it ever does happen, I'll survive anyway.
As for other insects that might transmit a disease to me, e.g. mosquitoes, I just take reasonable precautions but I'm not afraid.
Ticks and spiders aren't insects. I avoid ticks but I'm not scared of them. I kill black widow spiders in the house or if they are in my way, as a safety precaution, but I'm not afraid. Otherwise I leave them alone and they leave me alone.

June bugs freak me out!!!
I leave spiders alone unless they go places like my shower....
I kill every fly I can because they are filthy germ-carriers.
The rest of the insect world doesn't bother me.

You have a special power then. Someone could probaly rob me with a waterbug! No need for a weapon!
