4,022 bodybags sent home to their loved ones!
118 suicides, 99 in the past year!

Your "plan" isn't working, as we all knew it would not! So do you have a plan? You have been getting people killed since March, 21, 2003!

I"raq body count running at double pace By STEVEN R. HURST, Associated Press Writer

BAGHDAD - This year's U.S. troop buildup has succeeded in bringing violence in Baghdad down from peak levels, but the death toll from sectarian attacks around the country is running nearly double the pace from a year ago."

Some of the recent bloodshed appears the result of militant fighters drifting into parts of northern Iraq, where they have fled after U.S.-led offensives. Baghdad, however, still accounts for slightly more than half of all war-related killings — the same percentage as a year ago, according to figures compiled by The Associated Press.

With tours extended, multiple deployments and new tactics that put them in bare posts in greater danger, they feel leaders are out of touch with reality.

YOUSIFIYA, IRAQ -- In the dining hall of a U.S. Army post south of Baghdad, President Bush was on the wide-screen TV, giving a speech about the war in Iraq. The soldiers didn't look up from their chicken and mashed potatoes.

As military and political leaders prepare to deliver a progress report on the conflict to Congress next month, many soldiers are increasingly disdainful of the happy talk that they say commanders on the ground and White House officials are using in their discussions about the war.

And they're becoming vocal about their frustration over longer deployments and a taxing mission that keeps many living in dangerous and uncomfortably austere conditions. Some say two wars are being fought here: the one the enlisted men see, and the one that senior officers and politicians want the world to see.

"I don't see any progress. Just us getting killed," said Spc. Yvenson Tertulien, one of those in the dining hall in Yousifiya, 10 miles south of Baghdad, as Bush's speech aired last month. "I don't want to be here anymore."

This war has been a disaster from day one! Perhaps that is our penance for attacking a country that had nothing to do with terrorist or 9/11!

I am serious as well, You don't want us to withdraw, I suspect for oil, but you can't end this war? You can't win it either! So what is your plan now?

This is a serious question, I expect serious replies. If you want to bash me, send me an e-mail!

Any idea of what the other sides losses are. No. You seem to think they died for nothing. If our news media could open their eyes and sway from the tunnel vision of, destroy Bush at all costs, they might see that good is being done there. Ever think that the suicides may be in part due to the negative media coverage, our troops see over there ? You can bet that story will NOT be covered in the US media.

Your "plan" isn't working ---
Keep telling a lie long enough and people will start to believe it. Why is it that this is the basic headline day, after day, after day. Why is it that they (media) needs to repeat this over and over and over. Once or twice should be sufficient to make the point. But, it is not sufficient. It needs to be repeated over to quell the rumors and stories of success. Any leaking through the cloud of propaganda will damage their (media) agenda... Trash Bush at all costs.

Other than "Stay the course" ???
What ? How much more simple could it be. Your looking for a complex plan of attack. A delicate, drawn out, detailed plan (like the dems don't have) to enlighten the masses of is actually going on. A "hidden agenda". None. Just outlast the cowardly terrorists. I believe the basic policy is NOT to negotiate with terrorists. To up and leave will not only let down the citizens of Iraq, but will chalk up victory of insurgent terrorists who believe the US has no stomach for a drawn out battle. Sorry, I don't forget that easily. This was not a war over 9/11. We did not choose to fight terrorist there. They came to us. We cleared out a evil dictator who used WMD's upon his own people. It is the terrorists that prevent our pulling out. They want the area as badly as anyone. And where are they from ? Countries that don't have the worlds backing to come in and move us out. Why ? Because we are doing the right thing. Period. Stay the course.

War is never easy. Death is a part of war thats hard to accept. People who cannot accept what war brings have no place discussing/debating, period. Many statements here of late are borderline treasonous. Liberals and Democrats are destroying our values daily , and undermining our Presidents ability to effectively do His duty. We not only struggle on the front lines at the hands of our enemies. Our polititians(Dems/Libs) have placed such an enormous amount of red tape on military suppliers in the last year which makes our job harder. A booksmart, no common sense younger US population is believing every word of the Dems/Libs. If we dont pull our heads out of our a**'s soon we are all in for a whole lot of problems that will be harder to fix than this war.

Your sources of information seem to be from the far left.

What is the Democratic stratagy?

They haven't taken a stand on anyting in 7 years. All they can do is complain about the administration.

How about something constructive for a change?

I am politically in the middle of the road and don't agree with our Iraq policy but at least Bush is a man of his convictions. The Democrats have not said or done anything but complain. It is about time the Decocratic leadership took a stand.

I know their plan. Hold on, let the democrats do the tough job of extracting us from Iraq, and when Iraq inevitably gets even worse after we leave, blame the Democrats all the while ignoring the fact that the Democrats knew that they were left with no good choices thanks to the Republicans and chose the one that was best for us and our armed forces. That's their plan, leave Iraq and blame the Democrats for "losing" a war when it was they who made it unwinnable.

Win the war, build an ally. If we don't, the enemy resumes strengthening, and follows us here (more). This is not a war we are fighting because we are Republicans. We are fighting it because we realize it is a fire that must be put out. This enemy will not be reasoned with. We can not walk away from them. Our only option is to eliminate them, and they aren't cooperating as fast as we would prefer.

You see, ya fool me once and then you'll never fool me because I am a fool and as your president, i will drag America down kinda like a towel being dragged by some kids mommy that's getting dirty and the kid's mommy is a terrorist, that's what I plan on doing, as your president, I am the decider and will decide if she will drag the towel or if he will wear it on his head, kinda like the fool I spoke about. That's the republican plan. (Karl, get me the heck outa heer).

Please provide a reasonable course of action for us, yourself, instead of only coming up with hideous Democrat candidates.

The minunte the Democrat party become reformed, I would vote for whoever is qualified. Until such a time, it's like the pot calling the kettle black.
