Because I was too lazy and too busy wasting my time answering other people's questions, I didn't bother to start my laundry until this evening. I finished one load and hung it on the clothesline outside at around 7:45 PM, at right around sundown. The second load was hung at around 8:30 PM. after the sun was completely down. I am in NY, it is now 76 degrees outside at 9 PM, the low for tonight is 73. It is a little humid (82%), and some wind (13 mph). Any chance my clothes will dry by around 1 or 2 AM when I go to bed?

I don't want to leave them out overnight and take them in tomorrow morning, because:
(1) I live in a garden apartment complex, although the chances of my clothes being stolen are very low.
(2) There are chances of scattered thunderstorms later tonight and tomorrow.

Guess you'll just have to wait and see! Next time hang them in the sun. It kills bacteria and viruses.

Yes, they will be dry.
Hi, Neighbor....yeah...I know what you mean about the humidity. It has been outrageous for the last couple of days.....I live in Northren N.Y.
It's been very uncomfortable.
