I think that all women, in one way or another, just want to be loved, respected, and heard- the same as men do. Love her, respect her for who she is (even if her ideas and opinions differ sometimes from yours), and listen to her when she is trying to communicate with you. And never be afraid to communicate with her, as well. ASK her what you can do to make her happy. Without communication, you will never be able to know what one another's feelings are, and what one another's desires are. Every relationship is different, and everyone's feelings, ideas, and personalitites differ. So communication is the key to knowing how to bring the most satisfaction into the relationship. And compromise. Learn to reach a middle ground on every issue. A relationship is about equal partnership. It's about two people who compliment each other perfectly. One picks up the slack where the other is lacking. And they both work together to bring out the best in each other. It should be a perfect partnership. Ultimately, though, if you are doing everything that you can to ensure a happy relationship, and your girlfriend is still unhappy, in that situation, you would not be at fault. Sometimes we have to understand that we are not responsible for the way that others feel. If you are putting an effort toward the happiness of the relationship, then she may need to step up and put a little effort into it as well. Either change her perspectives, or get some help for herself. If she values the relationship, she should be willing to put that much effort into it. But good luck to you! I hope for the best with your relationship. :)

She should be happy just being with you if you are doing all the right things. You are, aren't you? Things like being polite, opening the door for her, picking up the tab at restaurants, taking her for long walks, having intimate conversations on a park bench, drinking an ice cream soda together, protecting her from getting wet by walking on the side next to the street.

Okay, so I'm old-fashioned, but I am proud of it. Young people would be a lot happier today if they would follow common courtesy rules.

Your asking Yahoo answerer's??. .

Happiness is different for each individual. So tell her you would like to make her happy, and ask her directly what would make her happy. Simple as that, problem solved.

Ask her and not people on here...what she wants and what makes her happy may not be what those on here think would make her happy, so simply go to the source.

You can't make her happy; that's something she has to be on her own. You can encourage her but making her happy is impossible.

Diamonds, gifts, smiles, empathy, thoughtfulness, kindness, and practical measures suggested by Dr. Ruth Westheimer. {Take it from me! I I never listened to her, and my wife never was too happy with me.}

I've been a single widower for 14 years, and have forgotten everything I ever knew about making a woman happy, except for diamonds, gifts, smiles, empathy, thoughtfulness, and kindness.

That just ain't enough, .but Dr. Ruth's still alive, according to Wikipedia, so it's not too late to relay your question to her.

ASK HER what can you do to make her happy. Do something that she likes and do something for her every now and then not expecting something back. This is really important. LISTEN TO HER, and try to make her time with you the best time of her life.

Stop trying. You aren't responsible for the happiness of others. Of course, once you start, it will always come back to you to continue doing what you have started.

If she isn't happy, you might want to consider your choice of partners.
