I know most people out there start shopping for Christmas as early as September or October so they don't have to worry about the crowds in December. How early or late into the year do you go shopping for those who you know or love?

I start very early, right after the previous Christmas. However, I always end up doing lots at the very last minute. I know I'm crazy, but I enjoy the crowd and busy feeling in the stores the day before.

Pretty much all year long! LOL!.
I'm a geek that way. When I see something that I know someone in my family will like, I tend to remember it.
I don't actually buy until the end of summer or early fall in most cases, and I'm sneaky about asking ahead of time to make sure it's right.

actually, we celebrate in january. i've been a single mom, so when my child gets back from his dad's in january, i'm able to get my tree for free... from the side of the road, i borrow christmas ornaments, and any money i've gotten, i use on my child's present.

one year, when he was about 2 i got toys he hadn't played with for a while and wrapped them. when he opened them up he said, "i remember!". it was a hoot!

one time i thought i would do all my christmas wrapping and shopping early. but when i finished wrapping i realized i use "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" paper. so instead of wasting paper and rewrapping everything. i just wrote "JESUS" under it.
