Good news, bad news.
Good news- when they are the right age (at least 4 years old) and if they are kept the right way, they mate like bunnies.
Bad news- it is really, REALLY hard for the average home keeper to have a set up where they can lay fertile eggs. They rarely reproduce well indoors or for the casual keeper.
More bad news- what the heck will you do with the babies? They are so cheap that few people want to buy them, and there is almost no way for the average person to make money with this. Never breed an animal if you do not have a solid plan for the babies.

Red-eared Sliders kept as pets generally reach sexual maturity between 2-4 years of age. Females may not mature until 5-7 years of age. In addition to that you will have to have the aquarium at atleast 75 degrees and some soft sand where the female may lay the egg(s), its a little hard to take care of the egg(s) and needs alot of care but you will be rewarded in the end with a cute hatchling.

It takes at least 10 years for the red-eared slider to get sexually mature. But no problem for the two. You can mate them when they get older. Don't forget to keep them warm in 27-29 degree celcius, or they won't get older.

We really don't need MORE red ears in this world. I know you dont wanna hear that, but it's the truth. They're even BANNED in Florida now it's so bad.
If you wanna breed turtles, pic a lesser known and lesser bred turtle you can sell.

You can't really FORCE them to mate, but you might want to learn about mating them and maybe set up a nesting area for the female~
