Well even though I am a smoker I will say smoking is less attractive.
Pimples can not really be helped. Not really a persons fault they have pimples, but it is a persons fault if they smoke.
I can not smoke in public (and I don't) It embarrasses me.
A person can not leave their pimples at home. So I think Smoking is less attractive because I think it is disrespectful to others that do not smoke. I know it stinks, is unhealthy etc.
Smoking is a character flaw, pimples are a condition

For me, smoking would be less attractive. That is to say that you're not a smoke addict and you just smoke occasionally. And that you inherited bad skin so the pimples would be something that you can't really avoid.
Now, if you only get 1 or 2 pimples occasionally then that would be less attractive than being a chain smoker.

I don't smoke and I really don't care if the person I am with smokes. I actually like kissing smokers. Shock! So yeah... and pimples... well, they are not attractive by definition but there are worse things out there like a nasty personality.
