‪A case of good friends (for years) that fell in love (just this yr) - drama in and out, challenges, life situations (tragedy occured). After we were "together" for a bit, we decided to be friends but after the tragedy he pushed me away and rumors/assumptions, people's ideas are getting the best of us. the last we spoke, we misunderstood each other and we haven't talked in a month. I want to clarify things and reassure him and hope things are okay so i was planning on writing a letter.

out of NOWHERE, he randomly texted me w. "g.morning"...random...

does he miss me or just want attention?

we decided to be friends b/c we didn't rush things esp.since we're friends - it wasn't a good time for both of us in our lives...i don't think he knows that i DON'T want a relationship so when he "talked" to me a month ago, he was coming off as an A S S telling me how to "play the game" and guys would "love to be with me". he said, i "shouldn't wait for him" anymore..completely arrogant and false...i don't know if he was mad b/c he was jealous or whatever...

I think maybe he is thinking the same thing you are.....:)

Maybe he misses your friendship, I hardly think that texting someone with 'g.morning' constitutes wanting attention.

If you guys were good friends before, then maybe you can salvage that out of all this.

It a game to get you catch off guard and once you let your guards down, he will take advantage on you as menancing force of unreason. There is not clear understanding of love other than wanting attention. The same way you don't feel to be lover other than friends. After a month he remember that he damped you and want to see how you are doing if you still have the same feeling towards him and this is what the game is all about. You want to play him as he wants to play you. What will be the outcome? Genuinely you won't feel secure in starting a relationship with him.

Get together over coffee and have a serious conversation. Voice where you went the relationship to go and both of you agree to stick to it.

Forget him. Stay friends if you want but don't expect anything, no matter what he says. Date other people.

Judging by your screen name, I'd say you're the one who wants attention.
