I bought about 5 tests because I was so shocked I was pregnant for the second time. I had been on the pill for 2 years!!! I got a walmart brand, EPT, Clearblue digital, and two other brands. All had a strong vertical line and a weak lateral line to make the plus, except for the digital. Well, I am about 7 months pregnant so I know they were all good tests. Good luck!

They are all pretty much the same, despite what the outside of the boxes tell you. Some say they are "easier to read" but honestly, either you have a line or you don't. It might be faint, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the test and everything to do with how much HcG hormone your body is producing.

I have used dollar store tests every time with perfect accuracy. And since most women like to test a few times "to make sure" it makes sense to buy cheap tests LOL because otherwise you'll be spending almost 10 bucks apiece.

I bought three tests for a buck apiece so I only spent $3 total - pocket change - pretty cool!

Just make sure you test in the morning - it is more likely to detect the hormones then.

By the way, I used the dollar store test A WEEK before I expected my period and it was accurate. I'd say that's pretty impressive for a test that only costed 1 dollar. Yes, I tested again 1 week later and got another postive, just to be sure so that proved the first test was accurate. The line was faint and hard to see the first week and the second week it was VERY dark.

Which ever one is on sale! Seriously. If there are some that come in a multi-pack and you are trying to conceive, they are normally a good deal. You most likely won't get pregnant right off the bat, and pregnancy tests will become your new hobby :)

If you do turn up pg on the first test, and you bought a 3-pack, just pass the rest on to a friend. They do expire eventually.

Also, you can buy the test strips used at doctors offices online for next to nothing. If you aren't pg this month, order them for next month.

clearblue easy digital. It's a little more expensive, but well worth it. There is no mistaking the readout (is that a second line or not?). It's a simple test to use and to read, and it's one of the better ones which can detect a couple of days earlier.

Hope this helps.

Clearblue easy digital, you can get 2 for 15 bucks. I took a cheapo test and it was a faint line, I took the digital one after and it said "pregnant"

First Response you can use 5 days BEFORE your missed period. Although by the time I realized that I was abt. 6 days late or so, I asked the pharmacist which one I should use and he said any of them. I used the CVS brand. Showed both lines instantly!

The cheapest, they all work in the end Have you seen what doctors use at the doctors office? They are the most basic ever, just a paper strip.

First Response in the pink box. You don't need the fancy digital one when this tells you the same thing and they are cheaper!

I always use the First Respone tests, I've never had a problem with them.
