I don't believe we came from monkeys. One reason is because I've met many people who are stupider than monkeys.

Dudas_91 is wrong. We have monkey ancestors. Our last monkey ancestor was about 22 million years ago. We share this ancestor with the other apes.

It was not any of the monkey species extant today, but nonetheless, if you had one sitting in front of you, you would certainly classify it as "Old world monkey, previously undescribed species." When I think about it, I picture Curious George.

Its a common mistake. Many people think that evolution states that people evolved form monkeys, which in itself is completely false. Evolution states that we share a common ancestor with apes, there is no sentence that states that we evolved form monkeys. If more people would understand that evolution doesn't say we evolved form monkeys, there would really not be any argument, because evolution has a ton of supporting evidence and makes perfect sense.

Well, i definitely think we do, because i think Creationism is just retarded, and that a 3 year old infant came up with the idea, honestly, who believes in the bible, no one today was alive back then so how do we know it's even true. Anyway, I got to go to church now, I'm interested on how this turns out.
