watch the oldie where the principle character always sucked on a lollipop and he was a detective?I know the answer,just wondering if anybody else used to watch it,if so do you know his character name and his real name?I know both answers.

One of my favorites..Kojak! He was in Kelly's Heroes too..a favorite film. His name was Tele Savales..of Greek origin. Kojak was very popular in the seventies. I don't know if the series has ever been repeated..I'm not a tv buff or boff and have limited channels for viewing. Nevertheless he did start a good thing in 'my boy lollypop - sung by Millie'.
