If you watch a person when they speak, sometimes (not always) their actions can tell you if they are deceitful or not being honest. Their eyes avert, they cross their arms in the front they touch their face or scratch their face in an attempt to hide. Sometimes their voices go up like a question at the end of a statement when the voice should go down. If a person is uncomfortable or doesn't like you and is sitting next to you, I have heard, if they cross their legs, the toes on the top leg face away from you. Body language is a very strong thing, and it is indeed an action.

If a person constantly breaks plans with you, they could be depressed or they don't want to be with you.

To sum it up, I do believe actions do speak louder than words.

Yes 100% actions always speak louder than words. A person can say one thing till they are blue in the face up one side and down the other. If their actions do not follow suit with what they are saying then its just BS.

Some kind of action does speak louder than words. Like for instance, 'get up and do the laundry' means 'get up and do the laundry'. Some might say its 'get up and do the laundry yet' in some languages it is 'stay in bed and get on dirty clothes'. Another way of seeing this is from a different angle..'get up, do your laundry'..or better still 'get up and strutt your stuff!'. All of which is confusing in the long run. Yawn! Time for bed.

YES! perfect example...my husband told me he was going to stop smoking pot ( so we can get pregers) and he said many of times, but when I was looking in the basement for something, there was a bag down there...AND he bought it again after that incident AND after telling me the last time he was going to stop again...so yes actions speak louder than words

The question can be taken two different ways. One, in regards to actions during conversation: body language is essential to communication and generally is more honest than word choice. If you are truly interested in this subject, I would suggest some additional research on body language. It is quite fascinating! Second, is the "do as I say, not as I do" approach. Ask any teenager if the actions of their parents affect them more or less than their parents' words. My bet is on more...people watch everything and listen to just about nothing.
