It really depends on the ferret and the dog. They could get along great and play together or they just might not go together at all. I had a friend that had a ferret and her dog was his best friend. I believe she had a Boxer. Now my dog, well, she drools whenever she sees my ferrets. Needless to say, I don't let her anywhere near my little babies!

Depends on their individual personalities.
Some dogs really object to small furry animals.
If you introduce them right, and give them the time and space they need to adjust, it should be fine.
