How do you remove anti-freeze smell from winterized trailer water?

Did you use the pink stuff? You should not use the Green Auto stuff!
But, you have to get it flushed out, using fresh water and draining.
What I do. My water pump is under the sink in the bathroom, easy to get to. I remove the hose on the Holding Tank side and put a hose that long enough to reach inside my Pink Anti-Freeze bottle (Garden Hose will work). Turn off the hoses to the Water Heater and drain, then the pump just bypass the Heater. Turn on the furthest faucet on the opposite side of the trailer cold first and hot next turning off when it turn pink. Usually it be Bath Tub, Kitchen Sink then Bathroom sink. This fill all the lines and I open the Drain valves under the trailer on the backside and that drain the holding tank. Also open ALL water faucet valves/knobs. The Water Heater has a Drain Plug and I remove and lay there by the hole and close the panel.
Doing it this way the Holding Tank never full of Pink Anti-Freeze and it only in the lines and take less than a Gallon to do. Then when you ready to get going; install the plug on the Water Heater, Turn on Bathroom sink, kitchen and tub to flush and "THEN" open the valves to your Hot Water and it all go to go.
Now, a friend did what I think you have done. Put I not know how Many gallons of Green Anti-Freeze in his trailer. We kept filling and draining. It finally was out. BUT! I called the 800 number on the Anti-Freeze and ask about the Toxicity of Green Anti-Freeze. What I was told; was do as we did and get it out best we could. "IF" there was a small amount of the green stuff left it would not be harmful as this same stuff is used in many Foods we eat. I know this freak out people, but, when we start asking questions we find out some "Very" interesting things.
But, I think I would wait many fills before I used the water for drinking or cooking until I "Know" it was flushed out.

Hope you didn't use engine antifreeze as it poison China uses it ???? Flush with fresh water repeatedly till the smell is gone do not cook or drink the water.If in a plastic tank call the antifreeze manufacture an ask them if there is something to get the smell out????

pour a box of baking soda into tank ,fill with water and flush.Then fill once more with straight water and flush again your good to go
